Orioles give Leffler the ax.

The team that's been waterproofing the basement of the American League East for over a decade has finally decided to designate its longtime agency for assignment. According the the BBJ, Baltimore's Leffler Agency is out.

The team'll be taking all communications efforts in-house.

We have no doubt they'll handle their marketing with the same style, grace, and success that's been a hallmark of their baseball efforts.

If their Camden Yards 20th Anniversary website is any indicator, the O's will probably be moving to Indianapolis within the decade.
