Why is your site anonymously-run?
We want people to concentrate on what we’re saying, not who’s saying it. It keeps the conversation relevant, and we don’t want to distract from the site’s purpose: to promote ideas and talent.

Who contributes to the site?
The authors of The D.C. | Baltimore Egotist vary by talent, interest and geography. It allows us to keep the site fresh. We invite everyone in the community to write editorial at any time. We’re happy to give credit to anyone who takes the time to craft a piece or they can choose to remain anonymous.

Is the site associated with an agency?
Nope. The D.C. | Baltimore Egotist is autonomous and not connected in any way to agencies in Baltimore and D.C.

Will all work submitted be featured?
No. The D.C. | Baltimore Egotist posts information and editorial relevant to the talent, businesses, and creative aficionados in the region and beyond. We’re honest with our recommendations; after all, it’s our desire to become a trusted resource. All work and links submitted to The D.C. | Baltimore Egotist will be examined with a critical eye. The top work will be featured.

Why has my comment or forum thread been deleted?
We believe in giving people their say. Unless it’s in poor taste, irrelevant,or dull. If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face or it doesn’t further the conversation, why say it here?

Can I start a version of this site in my own city?
