Jumping Jehoshaphat, this is terrifying. Is this really what 1986 looked like? And is anyone else alarmed at how flexible that one dude is?

Created by Jesse Kirsch of JJAAKK Design, this packaging for gourmet chocolate MELT is sleek, simple, and quite tantalizing. Great, now we're hungry and it's nowhere near to lunchtime.

  • Office Space: ds+f

Our friends from ds+f sent over some pics of their sleek, old-school DC office. Their place is housed in an old photography studio that was originally built by photographers Harris & Ewing who shot the likes of presidents and the Wright brothers. Pretty cool. The historic space is sandwiched between a lawfirm and some modern buildings, and it is within blocks of the White House.

The detail and feel of this office is just spectacular. We bet it smells of rich mahogany and many leather bound books. Lookin' good. You keep it classy, ds+f.

A ds+f regular, Brewer, saying, "Thanks for stopping by."

Think your space is equally awesome? Send in pics to be the next feature in our office space series.

  • The Gathering: A Glutton's Dream

We have a love affair with street food. How is something so tasty and scrumptious created in a truck? It has an air of magic to it. Needless to say, this got our attention.

The Gathering - slated for July 8 - will be the first food track rally that Baltimore has had. Ahh, rejoice. 'Tis a glutton's dream come true. Kooper's, ChowHound, Burger Wagon, Miss Shirleys, and others are already confirmed to show up, feed the masses, and attempt to get you addicted to their goods.

Can't go to The Gathering? Good thing that there is a site to help you locate your favorite food truck whenever hunger may strike.

We discovered this gem while perusing through our usual online haunts this morning. We smiled. Hopefully you'll never see an announcement like this from us. Hopefully. Poor guy.

Note: this image has since been removed, but being the sneaky little buggers that we are, we snapped a screenshot just in time. (via)
